Intelligence Layer Reference

This section describes the available settings and their accepted values.

Create New Rule

Describes the settings available in the Create New Rule modal.

Rule Definition

Defines the monitoring criteria and identity of the Rule.

Setting Description Type
Business View The published Business View that the Rule monitors. Only BVs from named ranges are available. Dropdown
Label The monitoring criteria for the Rule. You can select a suggested Rule or enter your own. When typing, the software displays auto-complete suggestions. Free text with suggestions
Rule Name The display name of the Rule. Free text

Subscription

Defines who receives notifications when the Rule Agent generates a result.

Setting Description Type
Add Subscribers Email addresses of users who receive Rule result notifications. Enter manually or select from suggestions. The Rule creator is added as a subscriber automatically. Email input with suggestions

Named Range Requirements

A named range must meet the following requirements before it can be published as a Business View.

Requirement Description
Header row A single row with valid, unique column names. No blank headers, duplicates, or merged cells.
Selection range Must cover the header row, all data rows, and one extra blank row.

Insights

Describes the settings available for configuring and filtering Insights.

Insights List Filters

Filters available on the Insights report list.

Setting Description Options
View options Filters the list by report ownership. Created by me / Shared by me
Date Range Filters the list by date or date range. Date picker
Insights Enables or disables the Insights Agent for the selected report. Toggle

Edit Insights

Describes the settings available in the Edit Insights modal.

Setting Description Type
Insights frequency How often the Insights Agent analyzes the report data. Dropdown
Day The day on which the Insights Agent runs. Dropdown
Time The time at which the Insights Agent runs. Dropdown
Share insights with Email addresses of users who receive generated Insights. Email input
Run Insights on this report Enables or disables the Insights Agent for this report. Toggle

Insight Details

Read-only fields displayed when viewing a generated Insight.

Field Description
Summary A brief overview of the generated Insight.
Impact and Recommendations The business impact of the Insight and suggested actions.
Report Info Report metadata including owner, severity, and report source.
Shared with Users with whom the report has been shared.

Delivery Preferences

This section describes the available settings and their accepted values.

Default Notification Channels

Defines where notifications are delivered, configured separately for Rules and Insights.

Setting Description Options
Homepage Displays notifications on the Homepage. Enabled / Disabled
Email Sends notifications via email. Enabled / Disabled

Alert Cool-Down Period

Sets a break period between repeated notifications for the same Rule or report.

Setting Description Type
Cool down in Minimum time before the next notification for the same Rule or report. Duration

Email Digest

Consolidates multiple notifications into a single scheduled email.

Setting Description Example
Digest Frequency How often the digest email is sent. Daily
Time Time of day the digest is sent. 09 AM
Digest Recipients Users who receive the digest. Enter emails manually or select from suggestions.
