Designed for finance professionals, it minimizes the need for IT support and ensures data security and version control.

Components

Reporting Intelligence for Other ERPs consists of the following components:

Excel Add-In — for financial reporting across ERP platforms. Reporting Intelligence for Other ERPs formulas used in Excel allow you to create reports using familiar business and accounting terms, rather than technical specifications.
Application Configurator — a central administration tool used to configure database connections, manage user licenses, and define application settings.
Query Designer — a tool that enables you to design and maintain queries over any relational database and combine them with Reporting Intelligence for Other ERPs formulas in Excel.
Distribution Manager — automates the scheduling and distribution of reports directly from Excel.
Profile Scheduler — allows you to schedule tasks such as refreshing workbooks and distributing Distribution Manager workbooks.

Before You Begin

Before installing Reporting Intelligence for Other ERPs, verify the following:

Verify that your system meets the requirements on the System Requirements page.
If Spreadsheet Server is installed on your machine, you must uninstall it completely before installing Reporting Intelligence for Other ERPs. Installing over an existing Spreadsheet Server installation is not supported.
Reporting Intelligence for Other ERPs requires a Platform account. If you do not have a Platform account, contact your administrator.
Close any open Excel files before starting the installation.

Install Reporting Intelligence for Other ERPs

Follow the steps in the Install Reporting Intelligence for Other ERPs article to download and install the product on your machine.

Set Up Application Configurator

After installation, your administrator must configure Application Configurator to define database connections, import license keys, and set up users. Refer to the Application Configurator User Guide for detailed instructions.

Start Using Reporting Intelligence for Other ERPs

Once installed and configured, open Excel and sign into Reporting Intelligence for Other ERPs from the Reporting Intelligence ribbon. Select Formula Builder to begin building reports against your ERP data.
