Upgrade Workbook

The Upgrade Workbook option is used to convert various legacy Reporting Intelligence and EDASH formulas in a workbook to revised Reporting Intelligence formulas.

Note: Legacy JD Edwards FXA formulas convert to JDE_FXA Designer GL GXL formulas.

Upgrade a Workbook

  1. Open the workbook containing the formula(s) to be converted, then, from the Reporting Intelligence Ribbon, select Tools > Upgrade Workbook. The Upgrade Workbook Options panel appears. The available options vary based on the selected ledger and the user's licensed features.

  2. Select the desired formula(s) to be converted, and click the Convert button. The system makes a backup of the workbook, converts the formulas accordingly, and displays a message indicating the results.

Note: After converting legacy JD Edwards FXA formulas assigned to multiple host configurations (for example, SSFXA1, SSFXA2, etc.), manual intervention may be required to modify the Designer GL definition assigned to the GXL formulas.
