Add a New Connection

Other ERPs - this article only applies to Reporting Intelligence for other ERPs

To add a new connection in Application Configurator:

  1. Open Application Configurator.
  2. Select the Connections tab.
  3. From the ribbon, select New. The connection panel appears.
  4. Use the following table to enter connection details:
    Field Description
    Connection Type Select CloudConnectorSaaS.
    Connection Name Enter a descriptive name for the connection. For example, Oracle_Production.
    Host Name/IP Address Paste the endpoint URL copied from Integration Resources in Data Hub. For more information, see Use Replicated Data Endpoints for insightsoftware Products.
    Port Enter 443.
    SQL Syntax Select PostgreSQL.
  5. Select Test Connection to verify the connection. A message appears in the Results field confirming whether the connection is successful.
  6. Select Save, then select Yes to push the changes to the network location.
