Get Started with Reports Center

This tutorial walks you through the essentials of Reports Center - navigating the workspace, uploading a report, and scheduling it to run automatically. By the end, you will have a report uploaded and scheduled to run.
Step 1: Navigate Reports Center
In this step, you open Reports Center and get familiar with how reports are organized.
- On the left-side navigation pane, click Reports Center > Reports. A secondary pane displays your report folders.
- Notice the three workspaces:
- Public Workspace - reports visible to everyone on your team.
- My Private Workspace - reports only you can access.
- Shared with me - reports other users have shared with you.
- Click any folder to see the reports inside it. Each report shows a status such as Completed, Running, Pending, or Failed.
Now that you know where reports live, try uploading one of your own.
Step 2: Upload a Report
In this step, you upload a report to Reports Center so it is available to schedule.
- Navigate to Reports Center and click Upload Reports.
- Select Single Report.
- Choose a Connection from the dropdown, then provide a Company name, Report Name, and Description.
- Drag and drop your file into the upload area, or click Add Files to browse.
- Click Next.
Your report is now in Reports Center. Next, you will schedule it to run automatically.
Step 3: Schedule a Report
Reports run through schedules. In this step, you create a schedule so the platform runs your report automatically and notifies the right people when it completes.
- Navigate to Reports Center > Schedules and click Create Schedule. The software guides you through four sections.
- In General, give your schedule a name, choose a delivery format, and enable the Enable Schedule toggle. Click Next.
- In Reports, select the report you uploaded in the previous step. Click Next.
- In Schedule, define when and how often the report should run. Review the summary and click Next.
- (Optional) In Users, click Add Users and select the recipients who should be notified when the report completes.
Your report will now run automatically at the defined time. Once it runs, the Intelligence Layer agents can analyze its data and generate results.
