Reporting Intelligence Ribbon tab is Missing After Install

Issue

After installing the Reporting Intelligence Excel add-in, the Reporting Intelligence ribbon is not available within Excel:

Cause

Something prevented the Reporting Intelligence add-in from being enabled during installation.

Resolution

The Reporting Intelligence add-in must be enabled before it can be used within Excel. There are several ways to accomplish this.

  1. Use the Enable Reporting Intelligence Add-in utility in the Reporting Intelligence program available from the Windows Start Menu.

  2. Start Excel by using the Reporting Intelligence Desktop app.

    This automatically enables the Reporting Intelligence add-in prior to launching Excel.

  3. Manually enable the Reporting Intelligence add-in.
